Description
On cozy grounds hidden among the trees you will find your peaceful and private retreat. Relax, unwind and enjoy yourself in our brand new 2-bedroom home. When you arrive you will find; a modern kitchen with all the necessities, a warm and inviting family room where you can sit by the fireplace and listen to music or watch some TV (cable) or one of the DVDs in our small collection. In the bedrooms you can lie back on the fresh linens and listen to the soothing sounds of the stream behind the house. The bathroom is complete with towels and toiletries, and to help you relax a whirlpool tub. A game room downstairs that both the little and big kids will enjoy. A large wrap around deck where you can BBQ or sit back and enjoy the surroundings.
Location
Located in Barnstead, in the midst of New Hampshire's Lake Region.
Locke Lake is full of fun. The main beach is about a mile from the house and is complete with in-ground swimming pool and a life guard. The beach also has a playground, fishing, picnic, and parking area. Just down the street is another in-ground pool and tennis courts. Also about a mile from the house is a free 6-hole golf course that the whole family can enjoy. We provide all the passes!
Walking distance from the house you will find a beautiful view of the lake and one of the smaller beaches that you are sure to love.
If you like fishing or just want to paddle around the lake our canoe is at the boat dock just a short walk from the house.
What to do? Take a Mt. Washington Cruise on Lake Winnipesaukee from nearby Alton Bay, go skiing at Gunstock, watch a race at New Hampshire International Speedway in Loudon, horseback riding, hiking, mountain biking, enjoy one of the many craft and agricultural fairs, visit historic Wolfeboro or maybe a long scenic ride to take in the beauty.
