This enchanting late 1800’s Manor overlooking the broad waters of Leadenham Bay, has a pool, a dock (with a covered boat house) and a floating 18ft dock to tie the canoes and kayaks up to.. Surrounded by tall, shady trees and wonderfully landscaped gardens, this “Lady of the Bay” home as we call it, offers privacy and comfort with incredible style.
With 5 bedrooms (all en suite), a formal living room, dining room, large eat in farmhouse kitchen and a wonderful screened-in porch, along with an outside deck, this home exudes all the warmth and comfort of an English country house - it is not easy to leave Duxbury!!
The pool is down at the water’s edge – float around and watch the osprey diving for their prey and blue heron picking and feeding in the shallows of the creek. Directly across the creek is the 900-acre Jean DuPont Audubon sanctuary where numerous songbirds, waterfowl and wildlife make their homes. A large deck off the house overlooking the water is the ideal place to entertain in the evenings while watching the sunset. Grill that rockfish on the BBQ or enjoy a steamed Maryland crab feast (all caught from your dock).
And yet 7 minutes down the road, one can enjoy fine dining in the historic village of St Michaels, interesting eclectic shops, sailboat cruises, or spend some time at the famous Chesapeake Bay Museum.

Just minutes from the historic villages of St Michaels, Easton and Oxford. The property is surrounded by water on 3 sides and overlooks the broad waters of Leadenham Bay. Views of the 900 acre Du Pont Sanctuary with its abundance of birdlife and deer are great. Hire in a kayak, canoe or small run about boat and explore the coves. Striped Bass is the well known catch of the day and of course just baiting a crab trap off the dock makes for that famous Maryland steamed Blue Crab feast the area is so well known for. Local fine dining and casual seafood restaurants are just 6 mins from your home. Go antiquing, biking, for sunset sail charters , shopping at the eclectic selection of stores in the village or just lay back at your pool dreaming of never going home!
