Rockport/Fulton is still an undiscovered paradise on the Texas Gulf Coast and is located in Aransas County - The area is also referred to as the Texas Riviera. The present Rockport population is only about 7,500 plus Fulton which has a population of a approximately 1,600. Aransas County has a total population of approximately 23,000. Rockport/Fulton is located approximately 40 miles north of Corpus Christi and about 2 hours from San Antonio and 2.5 hours from Houston. The weather is exceptional, the schools are excellent, the health care is good and the boating and fishing is great. Rockport/Fulton has a commercial fishing community that provide fresh shrimp, fish and oysters daily which you can buy off the boats in the harbors.
