Description
Small apartment with waterfront porch. The building is three stories with 2 units on each floor. Three units are short term rentals; the rest of the units are year round tenants.
Bedroom has full size bed; living room has sofa that opens to full size bed; sofa has innerspring mattress; full kitchen(except no dishwasher); bath with shower/tub combination; Cable TV, wifi,all linens, towels etc supplied including beach towels; microwave, toaster, coffeemaker, electric handmixer, glasses, dishes, pots & pans, etc. Iron and ironing board, hairdryer, alarm clock; window air conditioning unit in bedroom; central heat with thermostat in apt. Can accommodate 4, but more suitable for 2.
Location
We are located on Wonson's Cove; a small tidal beach. The foundation of the porches is the seawall; you couldn't get much closer to the water. Our section of the beach is private (owned by 4 families) so there is never the overcrowding you often get on the public beaches. Just a few minutes walk in one direction is the Rocky Neck Art Colony with gallaries and summer restaurants. Walk a few minutes in the opposite direction to the Gloucester Stage Company, or sit on your porch and watch the waterfowl in the Cove, the boats in the distance, and in the evening enjoy the beautiful sunsets.
