Description
"The Contemporary Castle" sits among rolling sand dunes covered by cascading sea oats...there's nothing quite like time on the ocean. Even though yor're on vacation, you'll want to rise early, else you'll miss the breath-taking sunrise!
The home is beautifully appointed in warm wood tonesm and most all of the rooms have towering vaulted ceilings with Hunter ceiling fans to circulate the refreshing ocean breezes.
There are two master suites: the first-floor master suite has a kitchenette and private bath with jetted tub, and the second-floor oceanside master suite has a private sundeck and newly remodeled bath suite.
The spacious greatroom is highlighted by a 28 foot window-wall overlooking the Atlantic Ocean (the Million Dollar view) and is lined with supple leather sofas and a big-screen television. Step out of the greatroom onto a very large oceanside sundeck that provides endless ocean views...a great place from which to watch the dolphins frolic!
The airy diningroom boasts a large glass atrium that provides great southern views of the ocean. Guests will enjoy dining on the custom-built granite table as well as the beautiful contemporary chandlier.
The kitchen sparkles with special blue-pearl granite countertops and a matching custom-built dining table, and the knotty pine cabinetry adds great warmth to the room.
The garage/gameroom offers guests lots of entertainment...a nice Valley billiard table, a Kettler ping-pong table, and a new foosball table, plus sofas, tables and an extra refrigerator.

Location
Just a mile south of "The Contemporary Castle" is Little Island Recreational Park where there are lighted tennis and basketball courts, covered picnic pavillions, a playground, two bath houses with shower facilities, a lifeguard monitored beach and a fishing pier.
Just a short distance south is the entrance to The Back Bay National Wildlife Refuge whose pristine 13,000 acres virtually surrounds Sandbridge. The refuge is home to many species of wildlife and is a winter home for thousands of migrating water fowl.
Within two miles of the home is the challenging Hell's Point Golf Course, and another 20 minute drive will take you to Heron's Point Golf Course and The Virginia Beach TPC.
Within four miles are major shopping centers that feature as well as diverse shopping options, many fine restaurants and entertainment venues. A short distance further is the Virginia Beach Boardwalk with its many varied attractions and activities.
There is no shortage of things to do here in Virginia Beach and "The Contemporary Castle" at Sandbridge Beach puts you within easy reach of all the action!
