Come stay at our comfortable, well appointed home located within walking distance to the Timberline Four Seasons Resort. Our home, “Slope View,” is tucked away, but not too far away to enjoy the convenience the resort has to offer.
We have decorated our home so that you can relax and enjoy the feeling of being at home, it is decorated with a down home country theme. Our great room is open to the fully equipped and well stocked kitchen and charming dining room. There is a private deck off from the kitchen with a relaxing hot tub. The great room has a gas burning fireplace surrounded by native stonework and gives that perfect cozy atmosphere.
The master bedroom has a queen size bed and is located on the first floor. Also on the first floor is a laundry room and complete bathroom.
On the second floor of our home you will find another full bath centrally located to the other four bedrooms. The first bedroom to the right has another queen size bed and a balcony that overlooks the front of the house with a splendid view of the slopes.
Straight across the hall is the second bedroom that with a full size bed. To the left is the third bedroom that has two twin size beds and also has access to the balcony. The fourth bedroom is furnished with kids in mind; it’s a place they can relax and unwind. It has bunk beds and a TV with a Play-Station.

Location
The house is located in Timberline 4 Seasons Resort www.Timberlineresort.com in Canaan Valley, West Virginia. The house is located about a two minute walk to the ski slopes. Four Wheel drive is not required. 29 Yoakum Run is located on Timberline Road.
Canaan Valley is the highest wetlands in North America east of the Mississippi. The floor of the valley has an elevation of 3,200 feet and the mountains top at 4,200 feet. Canaan Valley averages over 13 Feet of snow annually. The snow bowl creates a winter wonderland with great Skiing from December till April. Throughout all the seasons the valley offers outstanding views and is teaming with wildlife. Dolly Sods is located near Timberline it is an area of high elevation wind swept plains on the Allegheny Plateau. Areas within the area are designated Dolly Sods Wilderness, Dolly Sods Scenic Area, and Flatrock and Roaring Plains. The area is well known for its extensive rocky plains, upland bogs, and sweeping vistas. With the elevations in this part of West Virginia ranging from 2,600 feet to over 4,000 feet, the climate and plant life resembles northern Canada. It is a unique 'island' of wild country surrounded by Appalachian hardwood forests. Unusual plant communities are one of the attractions of the Sods. There is also Canaan Valley State Park (golf and skiing) and Blackwater Falls State Park.
