Lake Retreat and is off county road #9 and South Mill Creek Road in Rough Run, WV. The entrance road borders the southern end of South Mill Lake. Approximately 3 1/2 hour drive from Baltimore, MD, Washington DC, Richmond, VA.
It is located between the George Wasington and Monongahela National Forests, which features Seneca Rocks and Dolly Sods Wilderness Area.
