When USA TODAY compiled a list of the cleanest beaches in America. Isle of Palms was included as one of the cleanest in the United States and the only beach in South Carolina to make the list.

History:
Minutes away from Charleston which is nationally recognized for its Historic Landmarks. Including: Boone Hall Plantation, Fort Sumter, The Charleston Battery, the Market Place, and Yorktown.

Golf:
Inside the Wild Dunes Resort on the Ise of Palms, there are two golf courses: The Harbor and Links Golf Courses by Tom Fazio . Also, just over the bridge in Mt. Pleasant within an easy driving distance, there are four other great golf courses that are open to the public: Dunes West by Arthur Hills, Charleston National by Rees Jones, Patriots Point by William Byrd and RiverTowne Country Club by Arnold Palmer.

Payment Procedures
Payments: Personal checks will not be accepted less than 30 days prior to arrival. Final payments are due 30 days PRIOR to arrival. We also accept MasterCard, VISA, Discover and American Express.  

Taxes and Fees: Taxes and fees are not included in quoted rates. 11% State sales tax, State and local accommodations taxes and fees plus a 8% Reservation Fee are added to all quoted rates. Tax rates are calculated according to State sales tax, State and local accommodations taxes and fees and local laws in force at the time of this Agreement. Guest is responsible for payment of all applicable taxes in effect at time of occupancy.

Cancellations and Refunds
A. GUEST CANCELLATIONS MUST BE IN WRITING. If you cancel your reservation, the confirmation deposit will be held until the property has been booked and confirmed for the same rental period for the same rate. There are NO exceptions. If the property is reserved for only part of the rental period or for less rent for the reserved days, the deposit will be refunded minus any uncollected rent for the rental period. All guest cancellations are subject to a cancellation-processing fee of 10% of the rental rate ($100.00 Minimum). 
B. A home that is unacceptable to the guest is considered a cancellation.
C. Island Realty may cancel a Reservation, if, in its sole opinion, it is in the best interest of the Owner.
D. Island Realty is not responsible for the weather or other Acts of God and there will be no refunds.
E. Our Travel Insurance protects you from losses you may incur because of unforeseen circumstances, such as illness, injuries, and MANDATORY hurricane evacuations. (If you choose to VOLUNTARILY evacuate, you will NOT receive a refund for the days remaining in your stay). Travel Insurance must be purchased at the time you make your reservation. We recommend that you purchase this insurance. Please refer specific questions to 1-866-221-8080 (Reference # 007728).

Deposits
Reservations for the spring, summer and fall seasons made before the beginning of a calendar year on a property that does not have set rates, require a $100.00 per week deposit and are subject to price adjustments, owners' right of first refusal and adjustments in amenities. Guest will be notified of any changes and availability by January 15th. Guest may agree to the new rate and terms and pay the normal deposit to confirm the changes. Failure to agree to the new terms within 5 days of notification and/or failure to send the remaining deposit of 50% of the rent will result in cancellation of the Agreement and Guest will receive a FULL refund. If the rental rate has been set for the next year's rental seasons, then normal deposit and cancellation policies apply
