Description
The Lodge Pine House is a four bedroom log home / cabin, originally build in the 1920’s, remodeled in 1995-96. This year-round vacation cabin comfortably sleeps fourteen, with amenities including six queen beds, two single beds, two and 1/2 baths, a full kitchen, washer and dryer, and a fireplace.
Lodge Pine House features an open layout with cathedral ceilings and exposed beams, a large deck with unobstructed views of thousands or acres of the Routt National Forest. A barbecue area, fireplace, a huge great room, music systems, hardwood floors, a washer/dryer, and a large open kitchen make the perfect, comfortable vacation atmosphere.
Outside this house is our ten acre trophy trout lake, and the Elk, Yampa and Little Snake rivers are only a short drive for whitewater rafting and fly fishing. Horseback riding, snowmobiling, mountain biking, hiking, and snowshoing are right out our back door. Year-round activities in the Yampa Valley make this area the ultimate mountain vacation destination.
Location
Midnight Ranch is a high mountain ranch on 240 acres with open wild flower meadows, tall pines and thick groves of aspen trees. It is located 33 miles north of Steamboat Springs, CO and surrounded by the Routt National Forest and near the Mt. Zirkel Wilderness area.
